The Halfway Point - Halfway through 2019, Halfway to 2020
And how interesting it is that I return on what is the halfway point of 2019: 6 months into 2019 but also 6 months until 2020. So, depending on how you look at it, you either have more time to go or you don’t have much time left.
This is so interesting to me..
I’m gonna tell you.
You and I are in a very interesting position. We are at a place where we can evaluate what we have or have not done so far this year WHILE ALSO planning and putting things in position for the year to come.
So let's start here:
How has your 2019 been so far?
What have you REALLY done for yourself this year?
What's the status of those New Year's Resolutions you made 6 months ago?
Are you still interested in the goals you made a while ago?
Now, let me switch gears a bit.
As I'm writing this, I can sense that some of you actually feel like (and have) wasted time and you're not very happy about that. You feel as if it's too late or too much time has passed by.
Well, I want to tell you some things..
It's not too late.
You're not too old or too young.
You don't need as much money as you think.
Whatever you have been telling yourself, STOP IT NOW because THAT is what has been stopping you. Resolve TODAY to start over and make these next six months, the BEST six months and watch things change.
Finally, I want to say this:
I'm sorry to burst your bubble. (Not really).
There are some of us that have unrealistic expectations when it comes to achieving our goals and implementing change in our lives. Listen to me: The only thing that can change overnight is your decision. LASTING CHANGE WILL NOT. There's a certain amount of work, diligence and strength that is required when making changes in your life and you have to be prepared.
Are you ready to do something you never did to get something you never had?
Are you ready to be temporarily uncomfortable so that you can experience long term stability later?
We have to be real with ourselves and count up the costs and then do what we need to do, by any means necessary.
So again here we are, at the Halfway Point. This is a place where you can review previous decisions and make new ones. This is a place where you can start afresh and start over. This is a place where you can resume past goals and make new ones.
This believe it or not is a good place.
Well, because although being halfway there does mean you have a ways to go, it also means that you're not where you use to be.
