Do You Have a "Case of the 'What If's'"??

Why is that when it comes time for us to take that BIG step or make that BIG move, we hesitate, become afraid and freeze up? We're so excited at first, thinking about how our lives can and will change for the better.  But when it comes time to act, we get cold feet.

Why does this happen? Well, I like to call it "The Case of the What If's".

What is "The Case of the What If's"? It is when you began to think about all of the possible things that could go wrong when you take a leap of faith.

Example:

What if it doesn't work?

What if I'm too late?

What if no one likes it?

What if  no one buys it?

What if. What if. What if.

It's the "what if's" that will keep you stuck and stagnant, not progressing towards our goals.

BUT if you really want to achieve your goals and if you really want to progress and move forward, then you have to be willing to overlook and silence the "what if's" and press towards your goals.  Change those "what if's" from a negative to a positive.

Example:

"What if it DOES work?

What if it things turn out EXACTLY how I want them to?

What if this is the right time for me to do it?

What if EVERYONE likes it?

What if. What if. What if.

So, instead of thinking about all of the things that could go wrong, let's begin to think about the things that can actually go right. Sometimes, all it takes is a change in mindset to shift your focus and propel you to your destiny, which is the fulfillment of your dreams!
