INTRODUCING RPR GUEST BLOGGER: Jhotee Mosely
I first and foremost want to thank the Lord for opening this door for me! It is an honor and an all around exciting experience! I also want to thank my sister in Christ Mrs. Amy Ricks for allowing me to guest blog for RPR.
Now as she was enlightening me about the Seven F's of a Fabulous Life (Faith, Family, Friends, Finances, Future, Fitness & Femininity), Faith is what really stood out to me, and I'm going to tell you why. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is essential to walking hand in hand with God. We are to call things as if they are, even though they are not! So, as I write this to you all, I want to encourage your hearts.
Some of you may be enduring heavy trials and tribulations. Others may be experiencing things like a flat tire or your check missing a couple of hours. My point is, how are you going to react when such things are taking place? Are you going to praise the Lord when everything is perfect and all of your prayers are answered OR are you going to stand by the Lord's side through thick and thin as you would your significant other?
Whatever it may be, just keep your trust in God. When your situation tries to talk to you, don't answer! These things may be going on, but what does God say? He said to fight the good fight of faith, a fight that has already been won! At the exact moment when something goes wrong is the exact moment your faith in God is being tested.
So, even though your tire may be flat or your check is missing a couple of hours, keep your peace. You may be living in a shelter or your lights may be off but I want you to know that whatever you endure, nothing will separate you from God.
As I close, I want to say this: some things may happen because of our own mistakes. Other things may happen because it is time to be elevated. No matter what we may endure, show God He is the root to our happiness and our peace, not the things of this world.
Peace and Blessings to you all!
