The Preparation Before the Manifestation
Happy Soulful Sunday Lovebugs :)
Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines preparation as "something done to get ready for an event or undertaking." When we google recipes, there's always the ingredients for the recipe included as well as the instructions for preparing to make the recipes. Also, when surgeons are scheduled to perform surgery, they along with their team, prepare by making sure all of the instruments needed are cleaned and placed in an area where they are easily accessible for the surgery. It's safe to say that when we prepare for something, things run a lot smoother and we save time.
Did you know that a lot of us have not received what we've been praying for simply because we haven't prepared for it? Are you surprised?
Think about the last time you prepared for something, for example, a doctor's appointment. Now, preparing for a doctors appointment involves making sure you arrive at the appointment at the time designated. Some of us do this by preparing the night before (getting our clothes together, packing lunch, etc.) Now, whether we prepare or not, the fact still remains, we have an appointment. The Doctor and their staff will be waiting as well as the assumed relief (medication, prescriptions, etc) that we need for our medical issue. The only thing we have to do.. is show up.
How many of us have been waiting for God's promises but it seems as though nothing is happening? How many of us has God told us what He's going to for us but we've haven't done anything to show God that we believe Him?
Lovebugs, I encourage you to start preparing for what God has you. The when's, how's and particulars of what God has promised are not our concern. We leave that up to God. The only thing we need to do is believe and act, think and move by faith. Hebrews 11:6 (NLT) says "And it is impossible to please God without faith."
Aren't you ready to get what God promised you AND please Him in the process? Aren't you ready to show God that you believe what He promised? Aren't you ready to receive all that God has for you?
Well, start preparing!
