#31DaysofStyle: Oral Health
Now some of you may be wondering, what does Oral Health have to do with Beauty & Style? Well, A LOT! Who doesn't want a great smile to go with a great attitude and a great outfit??
So today, we're focusing on Oral Health. How well do you take care of your mouth? How often do you brush your teeth? Floss? Visit the dentist? (Don't be embarrassed, just move forward and do something about it!)
In order to have great (and improved) oral health, try the following basic steps:
Step One: Brush teeth TWICE a day MINIMUM! (To better improve oral health, brush after every meal!)
Step Two: Floss after meals. Hubs and I LOVE floss picks. They help remove food from those hard to reach places.
Step Three: Replace toothbrush every 3-4months (or when bristles are frayed!). Bacteria can live inside of our toothbrushes, so we have to make sure our toothbrushes are fresh so we can reduce the exchange of bacteria from brush back to mouth.
Step Four: Schedule regular dental visits (and actually go!). Dental visits are crucial to great oral health. Some of us may require more than routine dental care (such as scaling, root canals, etc) to improve our oral health.
Bonus: Invest in an electric toothbrush. Hubs and I are looking to invest in electric toothbrushes for our family. Electric toothbrushes can remove more plaque from teeth and improve gum health.
