31 Days of Style: At Home Facial

Hello Hello Lovebugs :)

Yesterday, Hubs and I were blessed to have a FULL Husband and Wife Day! Oh my goodness, it was SO beautiful and MUCH NEEDED!  During our day, we went to the spa where we received an AMAZING facial amongst other great things.  This facial completely blessed my face! LOL!  I learned so much about the importance of skincare and the necessary steps and tips to keep my screen fresh, healthy and moisturized.

So that brings me to today: We are going to bring the spa experience to our own homes with an At Home Facial!  Here is a list of things that you will need:

Facial Cleanser
Exfoliate Scrub
Facial Mask

Step One: Wash your hands!

You do not want to transfer dirt from your hands to your face.

Step Two: Wash your face with a facial cleanser.

I personally use Clean & Clear's Foaming Facial Cleaner for Sensitive Skin

Step Three: Use a Cleaner Brush for deeper cleaning

Step Four:  Rinse off the facial cleanser and pat your face dry.

Step Five: Apply an exfoliate scrub using circular motions with your finger tips.

I use Neutrogena's Deep Clean Gentle Scrub.  It leaves my skin feeling SO smooth and it smells WONDERFUL!

Step Six:  Steam your washcloth with hot water and place on your face for five minutes

Step Seven: Rinse skin and pat dry

Step Seven: Apply facial mask and let sit for fifteen minutes

Step Eight: Steam your washcloth with hot water and place on your face for five minutes

Step Nine: Rinse and pat dry

Step Ten: Apply toner

I actually use rubbing alcohol as a toner but I'm going to try this alcohol-free toner by Neutrogena

Step Eleven: Apply a moisturizer with SPF

I use Clean & Clear's Morning Glow Moisturizer with SPF 15

And there you have it!  A complete step by step for an At Home Facial.  My Esthetician recommends getting a facial every 3-4 weeks. So even if you're on a budget or are saving up for something big, you can still take care of yourself by taking care of your skin!
