31 Days of Prayer: Day 4
Good Morning Everyone :)
It's Day 4 of 31 Days of Prayer! Today we're going to pray for revelation of God, His will and His word. How many of us have struggled with REALLY knowing Who God is? Or how about understanding what we're reading when we're reading the word?
Receiving revelation will assist us with understanding, knowledge and wisdom. When something (or someone) is revealed to us, then we're in a better position to move forward and grow.
"Father in the name of Jesus, I pray that You forgive me of my sins, sins of omission and sins of commission, sins done in thought, word and deed. I thank You for giving me a forgiving heart so that I can forgive those who trespass against me just as You forgive me of my trespasses in Jesus name. Father, I come before You, seeking revelation of Who You are. Please give me eyes to see and ears to hear You. I also pray for revelation of Your will and Your word. I don't want to be led astray by feelings, lies or false pretenses. Thank You oh God for making those things known which I might otherwise miss. Thank You for allowing me to grow in You so that You may be glorified in my life. In Jesus name Amen"
Daniel 2:22 NLT
"He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he is surrounded by light."
1 Corinthians 2:10-11 NLT
"But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit."
Amos 3:7 NLT
"Indeed, the Sovereign LORD never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets."
