31 Days of Prayer: Day 24
Good Morning Everyone :)
Picture this: You have a tomato seed. You plant the tomato seed in the ground. You till the soil and water it, all to make sure the conditions are suitable for your seed to grow. As time passes, your tomatoes start to grow. You're happy. The end.
Today, we're going to pray to be seed sowers. The same concept explained above is the same when it comes to monetary seed. We take a certain amount, assign a scripture and/or a request that we are believing God for, sow it into someone or someplace of God's choosing and expect a harvest of what was planted.
I've personally experienced God do miraculous things through sowing and the great thing is, I've ALWAYS reaped MORE than I've sown! That just goes to show that we can't beat God giving!
"Father in the name of Jesus, I pray that You forgive me of my sins, sins of omission and sins of commission, sins done in thought, word and deed. And I thank You Lord for giving me a forgiving heart, that I may forgive those who trespass against me just as You oh God forgive me of my trespasses in Jesus name. Father I come before You asking that You give me the heart of a seed sower. You said oh God that You give seed to the sower and I thank You for teaching me the concept of sowing. I also pray for the spirit of discernment so that I will know who and what You consider good ground. Thank You oh God for revealing me what to sow, when and where so that You may be worshipped through giving. I bless You dear God and I thank You, in Jesus name Amen"
2 Corinthians 9:10 ESV
"He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness."
2 Corinthians 9:6-7
"The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
