31 Days of Prayer: Day 19
Good Morning Everyone :)
It's been said that friends are the family we get to choose. What made you choose your friends? What made them choose you?
Covering our friends in prayer is the greatest gift that we can offer them. We can go before The Lord, interceding on their behalf. We can fight for them in the spiritual realm. We can offer them the support they need by speaking to the Father, even during the times they're not speaking to us.
Today, we're going to pray for our friends. Yes, the same friends we've known for 20+ years and the ones we've just connected with. Doesn't it feel great to know that somebody prays for you? Well, why not sow that same service to the ones you've chosen to befriend along the way...
"Father in the name of Jesus, I pray that You forgive me of my sins, sins of omission and sins of commission, sins done in thought, word and deed. And I thank You Lord for giving me a forgiving heart, that I may forgive those who trespass against me just as You oh God forgive me of my trespasses in Jesus name. Father God I lift up my friends unto You, praying first and foremost for their salvation. I pray dear God that if any of my friends do not know You, that they will confess with their mouths and believe in their hearts that You are their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray oh God that You help them to grow in You so that You may get ALL of the glory out of their lives. I pray for their healing, mind, body and soul. I pray for their protection. I pray for them to have the minds of Christ and hearts after Your own. I pray dear God for them to experience signs and wonders performed by You. Give them eyes to see and ears to hear oh Lord like never before. I thank You Lord God for keeping my friends and I pray for them to know that the greatest Friend they can have is You, in Jesus name Amen"
Proverbs 27:17 NLT
"As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend."
Proverbs 18:24 NLT

John 15:13 ESV
"Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends."
