31 Days of Prayer: Day 13
Good Morning Everyone :)
Think about the last few major decisions that you've made. What was the result? Are you satisfied? Would you decide differently?
How DO you make decisions? Do you rely on what you know? How you feel? Someone else?
Today we're going to pray for wisdom. As followers of Christ, we have to be especially mindful of the way we do things. Our decisions can either reflect God or not. They can produce fruit or not, as well.
Operating in Godly wisdom is wise within itself and the best part about asking God for wisdom is that He'll gladly give it to you :)
"Father in the name of Jesus, I pray that You forgive me of my sins, sins of omission and sins of commission, sins done in thought, word and deed. And I thank You Lord for giving me a forgiving heart, that I may forgive those who trespass against me just as You oh God forgive me of my trespasses in Jesus name. Father God, I come before You seeking Godly wisdom. I pray dear God that You bless me with wisdom so that I can make decisions that glorify You. You said in Your word that You give wisdom to those who seek it so I thank You dear God for helping to be wise in Your eyes and not my own, in Jesus name Amen"
James 1:5 ESV
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him."
Ephesians 5:15-17 ESV
"Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is."
Proverbs 3:13-18 ESV
"Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace."
