31 Days of Prayer: Day 11

Good Morning Everyone :)

Broken hearts. Childhood wounds. Abuse. Neglect. Mistreatment. The list can go on and on. I know we all have experienced things that have caused us to hurt in some way, shape or form.

Today we are going to pray for healing.  We are going to go before The Lord and lay all of our hurts, pains, disappointments and frustrations at the altar. Today is the day we break up with our hurt. Today is the day we divorce our pain. Today is the day we walk away from the wounds so that we can walk towards our healing.

Sample prayer:

"Father in the name of Jesus, I pray that You forgive me of my sins, sins of omission and sins of commission, sins done in thought, word and deed. And I thank You Lord for giving me a forgiving heart, that I may forgive those who trespass against me just as You oh God forgive me of my trespasses in Jesus name. Father I come before You, laying all of my hurt at the altar. (Say out loud all of the things that have hurt you ex. being abandoned by a parent, abuse from an ex, favoritism in your family etc). Lord I leave all of this pain, hurt, resentment, bitterness and anger at the altar and pray for Your healing. I thank You oh God for being my Healer. Thank You for healing me mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Thank You for making me whole in Jesus name.  Thank You for healing my broken heart, spirit and mind. You are the Great Physician and by Your stripes, I AM HEALED! In Jesus name Amen"
