What to Do When You See Spirits Attached to Someone (and Even You!)

Hello there Lovebugs :)

This is a post that you don't usually see here at Roxie's Powder Room but nevertheless,  God put it in my spirit to address this. Have you ever came across someone who was always angry? It seems as if the slightest thing would send them over the edge?  Or have you found yourself getting easily offended  when someone says or does something to you you didn't particularly care for?  You get so bothered and irritated that someone woukd actually try to correct you? If you answered yes, then 9 times out of 10, you've came in contact with a spirit.

Ephesians 6:12 NKJV says,  "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."  Many of us find ourselves so upset with people, oftentimes engaging in arguments and even fights, not realizing that we're not "wrestling" with the person,  but what's operating in that person! So what do you do when we you see a spirit attached to someone or even yourself?

Pray. Go to God and ask Him for wisdom on how to handle the situation as well as reveal the spirit(s) that are present.

Rebuke it. To rebuke something means to admonish it, or forbid it. Once you have revelation that you are in fact dealing with a spirit and what the spirit is (ex. Jealousy,  Insecurity,  Lust, Pride, etc), say, "I rebuke the spirit of ________) in the name of Jesus! "

Bind and Loose. Matthew 16: 19 NKJV says,  "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” To bind means to tie or fasten tightly. So whenever you speak about binding something,  think of it as you gathering together whatever it is you want to dispose (in this case, specific spirits).  Now, to loose means to set free or release. So when you're loosing something,  you're releasing the opposite of what it is that you're binding. Example: You may say,  "I bind the spirit of pride and I loose the spirit of humility" or " I bind the spirit of insecurities and I loose the spirits of confidence and boldness".

We are in engaged in spiritual warfare whether we choose to receive it or not.  Demons exist just as much as Angels do!  Hosea 4:6 NKJV says, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." meaning what we don't know, can actually hurt us! It's time for us to open our spiritual eyes and see that we are living in the last days. It's time for us to mature in God so that we can be equipped for the work that He's created us to do.

So, are you ready to stop wrestling with your neighbor and start calling out and rebuking spirits?  Are you ready to see that demons do exist and realize we have an enemy who's ready to steal, kill and destroy?

God has given us the power to overcome as well as the victory. Now, lets us walk in it and be the warriors He's created us to be!

Xo,
Amy
