What Are You Spending Your Money On??
Have you found yourself wondering, where in the world did my money go? Have you looked in your wallet and thought, I just had $100, why do I only have $20 in here?? If you answered yes to either question, it's time for you to take a closer look at what you spend your money on.
The first thing you need to do is look at your account. Look over the purchases you've made in the last 30 days. What do you see? Where has your money gone? Are you pleased with what you see?
Next thing to do is to create a budget. If you want to straighten up your finances, then it's time to become a better steward over them. A budget is a tool to help you manage your money. To create a budget, you will need to know what your expenses are as well as your income. This will help you see how much money is coming in as well as how much is going out. Finally, tell yourself NO. If you KNOW that you shouldn't be buying something or you KNOW that you haven't paid your tithes and offerings and you're about to spend them, walk in self discipline and tell yourself NO. We are adults so we have to be mature in our thinking as well as our spending. Hold yourself accountable. Walk in wisdom. If you want to see your finances improve, then you have to do your part.
I firmly believe that God wants to bless us more than we want to be blessed. But we have to make sure that we are held responsible with what He blesses us with and that's where we miss it. Receiving a blessing is a piece a cake. Maintaining it, however, requires hard work and wisdom.
Are you ready for your finances to turn around? Yes? Well Ladies, it's time for you to turn around too!
