May Day: Reclaiming Our Fitness
Good Afternoon Lovebugs!
I believe that today will be a GREAT day! It's Day 25 of May Day and now we're focusing on RECLAIMING OUR FITNESS! Yes, we're gonna be concentrating on reclaiming a healthy mind, body, soul and spirit. The first step to Reclaiming Our Fitness is an Internal Cleanse. Before we can even tackle the outside (physical), we have to address what's going on in the inside (spiritual, emotion, mental).
Internal Cleansing will require us to first take inventory of our thoughts. What are the type of thoughts that run through your mind? Are they positive? Negative? Proverbs 23:7 says "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he..." Do you really understand how much power is in our thoughts? Whatever we think we are, we are! When we believe we are successful, we are! When we think we are worthy of respect, we are! But it also works in the negative sense as well. When we believe that we will never find true love, we won't! When we think that we arent't good enough, we're not! It's time to change the way we think! The way we think affects the way we act so we have to be very careful which thoughts we entertain. A lot of us have found ourselves in some VERY unhealthy situations due to unhealthy thoughts. Well, I'm here to say that IT STOPS TODAY! It's a brand new day which means we have a fresh start and with this fresh start, we can begin to meditate on those things that we want, hope and desire. If you desire to be healthier, consider what lifestyle changes that have to be made. If you would like to eat healthier, consider which foods will have to be omitted (junk food) and added (fresh fruits and vegetables) to get you to your goals. We are literally about to change our lives by changing the way we think!
So Lovebugs, we are off to a great start to Reclaiming Our Fitness by first changing the way we think. By doing an internal cleansing, we can begin the journey to healthier living. And we all know that the more good we put in ourselves, the more good will come out!
