May Day: Reclaiming Our Faith Part 2
Hey there Lovebugs :)
It’s a new weekend which means a fresh start! What is it that we can do this weekend to make it better than last week? Do we need a new change of approach? Do we need to let go of some things so that we can embrace some new ones? After having great conversations during the week with some of the wonderful women in my life, I walked away with a plethora of knowledge. One thing that stood out in each conversation was the scripture “faith without works is dead” (James 2:17).
What things are we waiting for God to do that we should actually be doing ourselves? We know that God is a faithful God Who does exactly what He says what He will do. But in order for God to do what He needs to do, we have to do what we need to do! How many of us are waiting on God to do something? Ok, now, are you doing whatever you can in your power to do what you can do? If you believe God for a job, are you going out applying for one? If you believe God for an increase in your finances, are you being responsible with what you have now?
So before we begin to question if God has heard our prayers, we have to check whether or not we are doing what we need to do. While we are waiting for God to show up and do His thing, we can stay faithful and loyal and do ours! God is going to do some amazing and great things in our lives. Now let’s show Him that we believe Him by doing our part while we wait for Him to do His!
