Embracing Your Femininity
Happy Throwback Thursday Lovebugs :)
As some of you know, I had my daughter two months ago and for the past two months, I've been hanging out and healing in the house. To say that I've have cabin fever is an understatement! (I'm an outdoor gal). Not only am I home with my baby, I also work from home which means I rarely have had the opportunity to leave out unless going to the grocery store or something. Now, in addition to being an outdoor gal, I'm also a girly girl! I looooove getting dressed up, wearing makeup, smelling good, everything! I get excited when it's time to go out because it's an opportunity to play dress up!
Today, my Pudding Pop has her two month checkup. As I was preparing everything last night, I made up in my mind that I was gonna look cute! Owwww! See, for the past couple of weeks, my uniform has been mostly tshirts and sweatpants. (Comfortable but c'mon now Amy!) It got so bad that even Hubs asked me to "get dressed" even though I work from home. (Shame on me :(. ) But when I got dressed this morning, honey I got dressed!! I even put on some berry red lips just for Hubs ;). It felt SO good to not only look feminine but feel it too!
When was the last time you embraced your femininity? When was the last time you got dressed, put on some perfume and your highest heels? When was the last time you felt good?
There's nothing like being a woman. We're alluring, sensual and strong. We're beautiful, intelligent and loving. Embracing our femininity activates the power that rests deep within us but sadly, some of us just simply don't know how. Try a new shade of lipstick. Buy that little black dress for the next time you go out. Switch up your hairstyle the next time you go to the salon. Being a woman is AWESOME and is something we should be celebrating every day!
