Murmuring & Complaining
Hey Lovebugs :-)
Do you ever find yourself complaining about your life? Are you tired of the same 'ole, same 'ole, everyday routine? Are you even tired of the same 'ole people you see everyday? We'll... what are you gonna do about it? What are you willing to change?
I know that life can be so routine to the point where it gets.. well a little boring! So, what is it that we can do about it?
1. First thing: be grateful! This is the life that God gave us. No one else can live it, although there are a host of people who would LOVE to be in our shoes. Children plucking your nerves? Tell that to the parents who've lost a child. Dread going to work? Say that to the man who's been unemployed for the last year and a half. Only have $10 in your pocket? Tell that to the homeless woman who's been begging for change to get a cup of coffee. We have SO much to be grateful for! All we have to do is focus on all of the good going in our lives while we change the things that we don't necessarily like.
2. Change what you don't like. If you don't like something, change it! It's just as simple as that! We are where we are in life because of the decisions we made so instead of complaining about the job, about the money, about the kids, about the husband, do something to change it! A lot of times, all that really needs to change in our situation is the way we're looking at it!
3. Give your cares to God and keep it moving. If the situations you're in is causing you to stress, worry and/or be anxious, tell God. Share with Him everything that's on your heart. Now, I'm not saying complain to God; what I am saying is have a conversation with Him. Ask Him for direction and guidance about your situation. He didn't send His son Jesus to die for us so that we can be miserable! He wants us to be joy filled! He wants us to be at peace! He doesn't want us to worry about ANYTHING!
So Lovies, there's a lot things that we can complain about when it comes to our lives but why bother? What is it gonna accomplish anyway? If we start being grateful, changing what needs to be changed and giving it all to God, we will begin to see that our lives aren't so bad afterall :-)
